Digne Finally Due to Arrive at Roma
Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting that PSG are releasing Lucas Digne to complete his loan move to Roma. Di Marzio is reporting that Roma will pay a €1.5m loan fee and that the move includes a €16.5m option to buy. The 22 year old is expected to travel to Italy on the 25th to have his medical and sign his contract.
This move has been mooted for around two weeks now, but PSG have been reluctant to letting their left back go without finding a replacement. Reports are linking the French giants with a loan deal for Portuguese international Fabio Coentrao. Now that they have reportedly targeted a replacement they are finally allowing Digne to go to Rome and complete the move
Digne has not been able to make the impression he would have hoped at Paris Saint-Germain. After moving from Lille in the summer of 2013, he has failed to make the left back spot his own. Due to the surprising form of Maxwell, Digne has only been able to make 43 appearances in all competitions over the last two seasons. With the Euros coming up this summer, Digne wants to be playing regularly to give himself every chance of making it back into the French squad. For that to be possible, the left back has decided to ask for a loan move away from PSG.
