Preview: Lyon travel to Caen
Lyon travel to the Stade Michel-d’Ornano to take on Caen in match week four. After only four points from their first three matches, Lyon will have to turn their form around if they are to challenge PSG for the title again.
On the flip side, Caen have started their season quite well. Despite a 2-1 loss to Nice last weekend, they find themselves with six points after three matches and are a mere three points from top.
Lyon will be without both Clement Grenier and Guida Fofana as they both wait to get back to fitness with their long term injuries. They’ll also be without star striker Alexandre Lacazette as he is out with a nagging back injury.
Caen will have a full squad bar Emmanuel Imourou who looks set to miss out with a thigh injury.
Caen will be keen to build on their good start to the season and build on their 13th place finish from last season. With the likes of Grenier and Lacazette injured, there isn’t a better time for them to play OL. Lyon will have to improve on their first three performances and hope that Claudio Beaveau and Nabil Fekir can make up for the injury to Lacazette.
