This season was expected to be his breakthrough season after scoring four goals in four games for Ligue 1 side Lyon, but he will instead have to sit on the sidelines and start his rehabilitation.
Fekir was hoping to make the switch to the Premier League, with a “dream” move to Manchester United being talked about, he had this to say:
Playing for Manchester United one day? why not. It’s a club that makes you dream, but we’re not there yet.
Only time will tell if he can make his move over to the Premier League.
